Lipari: Day 1

Ever hear of Lipari?

Its a small island off the cost of Sicily. It is one of a group of islands called the Aeolian. Strombli, Panarea, Salina, Filicudi, Alicudi, Vulcano, and Lipari make up the Aeolian Islands. Lipari is the largest of the bunch, therefore it is the most popular. Pretty small city. The island itself is almost like if Traverse City was an island, and warm all year round, and was italian. It is very nice here. One of the first things i noticed about the island was that it was really quiet. No sirens, car horns, loud cars, dogs barking. Really the loudest thing here are the children playing outside and the birds.
