Barcelona: Last Night/ unorganized pictures.

So our last night in Barcelona. We went out to eat at Vegetalia, the awesome vegan place that iv eat'n at over half the time iv been here. Afterwards we went out and walked around. We walked to this square where this band was playing and a TON of people were dancing. A bunch of old people, holding hands in a circle and they were doing like a tip toe dance. I can only assume its a traditional spainish dance to traditional spanish music.

This was the band, consisted of...id say at least 15 people, all playing horns. They were really good. This was definatly an excelent event to stumble upon on our lastnight in Barcelona.

This is the stadium. Camp Nou, the official FCBARCELONA statdium. Futbol-Club Barcelona.

There were quite a few people here! Oh, did i forget to tell you that i saw THE BEST executed wave ever! From the very top row to the very front. What you see in this picture is only two rows of bleachers, the first and the second. There is another set of bleachers above the second. So from the very top of the stadium, to very bottom, ALL THE WAY AROUND...once.....no, TWO FULL ROTATIONS! Beat that america.

The game and the moon.

This game was amazing. Not only seeing a soccer game in Barcelona, but also seeing some of the best players in the world. Barcelona won 6-0 and they did it with ease. It was really entertaining watching these guys play, their foot work is incredible. And there was so much energy in the crowd, chanting, blowing horns, and doing the wave, it was all there. Iv never heard so many chants, almost every minute they were chanting something. You could really tell these people are passionate about this sport and i certainly understand why now after going to this game.

Making friends on the way. Me, Morganne and Rainer. Rainer is from Toronto, he doesnt know what he's doing in Europe, but he is here, and he met us. Now he is travelling with us to Lisbon Portugal.

Travel Buds. Morganne Montana and Lance Paul at a soccer game in Barcelona, Spain.

This was after i think his third goal.

This was a really good game. It was so much fun. Barcelona won, 6-0. Number 9 there, Eto'o scored 4 goals in the first half. He is considered one of the best players in the world. He definatly showed it. This game was amazing.

The soccer field. holds 96,000 people.

Dancing at the show.

The way they play these shows, 8 bit style: They program songs on a gameboy, using special software that they put onto any old gameboy and the songs are programed to play continuously for an entire set for shows. Then they run their gameboy through a bunch of effect processors so they can add effects and do whatever they want throughout the set.

Some pretty cool videos playing behind them.

The 8 bit show that we went to on Friday night. This is 8gb, the main guy that played.

Derek and I checkin out some pretty cool graffiti.

Me, Derek, and Rainer (Rain-yay) walking to the movie theater to see Vicky Christina Barcelona, in Barcelona.

The Sant Jordi Arago crew, From left to right: Me, Elly, Rainer, Morganne, Annah....crew minus Kat...She tends to disappear alot.

The market

THE market

So there you finally have it. More pictures of Barcelona. Pictures of places, events, and friends.
Barcelona is a great great city and i would come back here in a heart beat. If someone were to ask me if i wanted to go to Barcelona i wouldnt even question it, id be on the plane before they were. But now its time to move on. Iv finaly got that antsy feeling to travel again. But i still dont want to leave Barcelona. Its still going to hard to leave but I am definatly ready now. Up next is Lisbon, Portugal.

Now that iv entered into my 2 month of travelling, time seems to be flying by much quicker than the first month. Like iv gone from amature traveller to intermediate traveller. Iv learned the ways of packing my bag and the ways of living with only two pairs of pants and three t-shirts. Iv learned the ways of sleeping with 10 other people in the room with me. Iv learned how to get by in a foriegn country without knowing the slightest bit of their language. Iv learned how to meet and talk to strangers from different countries. Iv learned how to keep my stomach full with only very little food throughout the day. I have learned a ton about travelling and a ton about life, already. And its crazy, im onto Portugal tomarrow and when i leave on the 15th i will only have just a couple more weeks left before i come home.
I often think about my approach to counting down the days to home. Should i be doing that? Or should i be living more in the moment? I feel iv done a good job of both, because rather than sitting and thinking about home and counting down the days every single day, i think iv reached that balance of being more motivated to see more and learn more because i am running out of time. Rather than just spending my time thinking about home and everything, I can do that while on the move.

So, you have any input on that?

home will basically be the same as you left it. except for your room. and except for the cafe. and the whole snow thing.
but really,
i would say be super present in the moment. there is no past, there is no future, there is only right now. i know it is hard to not get ants in your panties, but you gotta live it up, cuz you won't be able to do what you are doing there here!
